Individual Psychotherapy

Personal therapy (one-on-one) can be a rewarding and even life-changing experience for those who invest themselves fully. I work with individual adults and adolescents age 11 and older to conquer fear, embrace life and develop healthy ways of coping with stress and anxiety.

If you are considering therapy to assist you with a challenge in your life, you may be unsure what to expect, especially if you will be attending counseling for the first time. Most people feel a little nervous before (and even during) their first visit with any therapist. Once in a while, I'll even help you challenge your beliefs or give you a friendly nudge in the direction you have chosen.

Every situation is different, but I most often help clients with these issues:

After exploring my site, you may wish to contact me at 770-380-1288 for a free phone consultation to answer any additional questions you may have (up to 15 minutes). I recommend interviewing at least two or three professionals before choosing the one that is right for you. If we are not the best fit, or if you are seeking expertise I don't have, I am always happy to recommend another professional who can serve you better.
